Our Story

Soundcheck was founded in Yorkshire by three passionate musicians who shared a common frustration: finding high-quality equipment and reliable expertise for live performances was often difficult and expensive. Like many musicians, they decided to take matters into their own hands, pooling their resources to purchase professional equipment and build the setup they wished had been available to them.

As word spread among fellow performers, other bands began asking to hire their equipment. What started as a simple solution to a shared problem quickly evolved into something much bigger. Beyond supplying gear, the founders used their experience as working musicians to help bands fine-tune their live sound, allowing artists to focus on what mattered most—delivering great performances.

Driven by a commitment to supporting the local music community, the business continued to grow. More equipment was added, new services were introduced, and an ever-expanding customer base placed their trust in Soundcheck for events of all sizes.
